We are excited to welcome students back tomorrow morning for five full days of learning! 📚 📝 January Check-Ins Students will complete their second round of Check-Ins this month: ELA: Tuesday, January 13th ✏️ Math (including Math I): Wednesday, January 14th ➗ Science (8th grade only): Thursday, January 15th 🔬 Please help us by encouraging students to put forth their best effort and stay motivated! 💪 📄 Report Cards Q2 report cards will go home with students on Wednesday, January 14th. 📅 No School – MLK Day There will be no school on Monday, January 19th as we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. ❤️ 🌟 Looking Ahead As you can see, we have a busy month ahead! Each day we’ll celebrate with Christmas Spirit Week. 👉 Check Facebook for daily themes! 🎁 Holiday Activities We will run a modified schedule each day with Christmas activities and lessons at 2:10 PM in homeroom. We can’t wait to bring some holiday cheer to our students and staff! ✨ 🎶 Christmas Concert Join us Tuesday at 6:30 PM for our Christmas concert! Our students have worked hard and are excited to share the holiday spirit. ⭐ 🗓 End of Q2 + Early Dismissal Friday marks the end of Q2, and it is also an early dismissal day. ⏰ Students will be dismissed at 12:10 PM. 🎄 Christmas Break There will be no school from December 22nd–January 4th. Students return on Monday, January 5th. There will be no weekly messages for the rest of December. ❤️ Holiday Wishes I am incredibly thankful for all of my students, staff, and Warrior families. Due to the winter weather advisory and forecast for Monday, Stokes County Schools will operate on a remote learning day on Monday, December 8, 2025. Students should follow the remote learning plans provided by their teachers. If you have questions about expectations or assignments, please contact your child’s teacher or school principal for guidance. Staff should refer to communication from their supervisors regarding reporting expectations. The Board of Education meeting scheduled for tomorrow night will be rescheduled. When a new date is determined, an announcement will be made. Thank you for your flexibility and continued support of our students. Please stay safe and warm as this weather system moves through our area.

This new system helps keep our students safe. 🔑 Please remember to bring a NCDL or ID when signing in or checking students out early.
