Due to winter weather conditions, Stokes County Schools will be closed for students tomorrow, January 26, 2026.

Good Morning Warriors! This is Kristan Gallimore and I am excited to announce that the Stokes County Board of Education has approved a second assistant principal for Southeastern! Please join me in welcoming Mr. Lee Miller to our team. Mr. Miller comes to us from Reagan High School and has experience in teaching a wide range of history classes as well as coaching. This addition will give me more time to visit classrooms and it will also allow the administrative team time to collaborate with teachers in their planning efforts as well as allow for more individualized attention to our students. Mr. Miller starts with us today! I want to sincerely thank our school board members, Dr. Rice and Dr. Jones for providing this opportunity to our students and staff.

Each day we’ll celebrate with Christmas Spirit Week. 👉 Check Facebook for daily themes! 🎁 Holiday Activities We will run a modified schedule each day with Christmas activities and lessons at 2:10 PM in homeroom. We can’t wait to bring some holiday cheer to our students and staff! ✨ 🎶 Christmas Concert Join us Tuesday at 6:30 PM for our Christmas concert! Our students have worked hard and are excited to share the holiday spirit. ⭐ 🗓 End of Q2 + Early Dismissal Friday marks the end of Q2, and it is also an early dismissal day. ⏰ Students will be dismissed at 12:10 PM. 🎄 Christmas Break There will be no school from December 22nd–January 4th. Due to the winter weather advisory and forecast for Monday, Stokes County Schools will operate on a remote learning day on Monday, December 8, 2025. Students should follow the remote learning plans provided by their teachers. If you have questions about expectations or assignments, please contact your child’s teacher or school principal for guidance. Staff should refer to communication from their supervisors regarding reporting expectations. The Board of Education meeting scheduled for tomorrow night will be rescheduled. When a new date is determined, an announcement will be made. Thank you for your flexibility and continued support of our students.
