Bring those best smiles! 😄 🦃 Thanksgiving Meal Thursday we will enjoy our annual Thanksgiving Meal together in the cafeteria. A favorite tradition! 🍽️ 🎉 Freaky Friday Fun This Friday is Freaky Friday! Students are eligible if they have: • No out-of-school suspensions • No more than 2 ISS days between Oct 27 and Nov 21 This will be our last Freaky Friday until February due to holidays, family events and increased chances for winter weather. ❄️ 🍁 Thanksgiving Break No school Wednesday, November 26 through Sunday, November 30. Costumes are welcome, but please remember: Costumes and make-up must be school appropriate. Full face masks cannot be worn all day. Students must be able to move safely around campus. 🗓️ Looking Ahead to November: No School on Monday, November 10th and Tuesday, November 11th. Q2 Progress Reports go home Tuesday, November 18th. Picture Make-Ups & Retakes are on Wednesday, November 17th. 🚗 Car Rider Reminder: Families, please remind students to look for their vehicles and get in quickly during dismissal. Use the QR code on Facebook to sign up to donate blood with the American Red Cross and help support our school community. It is Tuesday, October 21st in the cafeteria from 2:00 until 6:00. 📘 Q1 Report Cards Report cards go home Wednesday! If you haven’t signed up for a parent-teacher conference, there’s still time. 👻 Halloween Freaky Friday is this Friday, October 24th!! Join us this Friday from 6:00–8:00 PM for our Halloween Freaky Friday! Students must go home at dismissal and return at 6:00. Pay $10 by 11:00 AM Friday to guarantee a slice of pizza 🍕 The $10 includes pizza, a drink, games, and music. The Haunted Locker Room/Gym is an additional $5 per entry. 💪 All money raised supports our athletic department and student-athletes! 🕸️ Halloween at School – Friday, October 31st Students may wear costumes to school! Good Evening Warriors! This is Kristan Gallimore with your weekly message. The Southeastern staff want to thank each of you for a successful start to the school year. We know the car rider line is long and bus routes are too but your patience, understanding and support have been greatly appreciated this week. Tomorrow is our band instrument rental night for 6th graders. Reach out to Mr. Carter if you have questions. Our fall sports parent meeting is Tuesday at 5:30 in the big gym. Please make plans to attend. The candy bar fundraiser continues this week. Support our school and help our students win prizes all at once. Students have the opportunity to win an ice cream party, a field trip to the movies, a free class period and a field trip to tour the UNC and Duke college campuses. All money earned directly impacts student success. As a reminder, students cannot be checked out after 3:00 without proof of an appointment. To help our car rider line, please remind students to get out of the vehicle once you reach the sidewalk and remind them to watch for their rides in the afternoons.
